Parish Pastoral Council

 

MISSION STATEMENT

We, as members of the People of God of St. Joseph’s Basilica Parish Pastoral Council, dedicate ourselves to actively promote and celebrate the mission of our Lord Jesus Christ. We will use the gifts and talents given to us by God and be faithful to our baptismal commitment.

 

PURPOSE

Our primary purpose is to lead, inspire and guide the parish community in spiritual and material matters in its efforts to achieve its pastoral mission.

 

REPRESENTATION

The Parish Pastoral council is comprised of representatives of the parish including:

- Members of the Parish Team

- Representatives from a cross-section of the parish community

- Representatives from all major committees and groups

- Members of Parish Council also represent the parish to archdiocesan and other external organizations
